CAS evolved in 2003 (from the AMIUG which had existed since 1995) by broadening the range of areas of professional competency that it covered and in the process opening up various routes to professional membership.

CAS represents Consulting Arborists and Tree Consultants and that representation takes various forms. We represent our members interests on the board of directors of the ISA UK+I Chapter and we have just become full members of the Tree Council. CAS is very actively involved in championing the views and specific needs of its members and the current chairman is also the current president of the ISA UK+I Chapter. But the most effective way that we represent our members and the services that they offer, is by promoting those members and services through this website and collective advertising. That alone is well worth the subscription fees, but considered along with the other benefits CAS Professional Membership is essential for anybody building a Tree Consultancy practice.
